Hello everyone, I have a couple of things to tell you all. First, Jim
Calhoun and a few others of us will be setting up for the St. Marks
Wildlife Refuge Outdoor Heritage Festival at 8am. Please feel free to
join us then, and if you can't try to stop by and volunteer or just
say hello sometime between 10am and 3pm. We will be selling our WCHS
wares, so come stop by and pick up a new afghan, book or coffee mug!
And don't forget to check out the photos of historic homes in historic
wood frames! Also, below is an email that Carolyn Harvey asked me to
send to all our wonderful memebers. If you have any interest in
geneology or are the least bit curious about it you should check it
out. Mary Sampson is the new chair and is very excited! Hope you all
are doing well, and don't forget we will be discussing "ghost towns'
on February 10th at 7am. It is sure to be another great and
informative meeting!
Sincerely,
Barbara Hines
Hello to All,
Our February geneology meeting will be the 5th of the month at 6:30PM
at the Wakulla Library.
Please try and attend because this is going to be a planning meeting
for the upcoming year. Our new leader needs everyone’s input as to
your needs and wishes.
Five of our members attended the DNA Seminar which was sponsored by
Huxford Society. Those in attendance where Tanya Lynn ,Mary Esther
Raker, Mary Sampson, Kathy Schmidt, and Carolyn Harvey. A good time
was had by all.
See you Thursday night at 6:30 PM
Carolyn
