Last Night's Meeting (WCHS)

I just briefly wanted to thank all of you in attendance at last nights
meeting. John Roberts did a wonderful job presenting the history of
the St. Marks Lighthouse. I found it facinating, as I am sure you all
did as well. I don't know about you, but it made me want to visit the
lighthouse soon. Although the majority of us have been to the
lighthouse many times, I feel we will all look upon it with a renewed
sense of appriciation. Our next meeting will be April 14th at 7pm at
the Wakulla County Library. Terri Gerrell will be presenting the
history of the turpentine industry in our area. Her family has a rich
history in the area, and it is sure to be another wonderful program!
Also, we will be at the St. Patty's Day Parade and Celebration, so
please come by and check out our booth and float! It takes place at
Hudson Park this Saturday. The parade starts at 10am and festivites
continue throughout the day!
