Hi All,

This Sunday we're heading out for a fly-away to Cromwell. We've been promised a full-on barbecue and probably some landing competition. Wheels up at 10:30am from Queenstown. Here's the email from Ray Bremer:

I have been talking to our friends in the Wanaka, Cromwell area.
They have agreed to invite us to a BBQ and catch up at the Cromwell Racecourse this Sunday.

The general plan at this stage is to meet at the clubrooms ready to leave smartly after the briefing at 10:00am.
From there we will meet at the Cromwell racecourse airfield the new Dicey hanger just past the crosswind runway by the holding point of 36

We will be have a BBQ that I have been assured will be better than anything we have had before. (Please bring some cash to fund the feed)

After that there will be the opportunity for some precision landings and  some social flying competitions.

Please let me know if you are coming and also if you  either require a seat or have some spare seats.
(if you are a passenger please remember to help with the flying funds)

Book a plane, grab a friend & LET ME KNOW YOUR COMING.

All are invited

Catch you there.

Thanks

Also, we've got some great news in a temporary CFI for the club. Ross Crawford of Wellington is stepping in to act as CFI from Dec 1st to Jan 31st.  He's more than qualified: an A-cat instructor, experienced top-dressing pilot, check airman at Air New Zealand, and Flight Instruction Technique instructor. We're very grateful to have him.

Let us know if you'd like a spot on one of our planes, and we'll contact Ray to make sure he knows we're coming.

Cheers,
Gareth
