A federal judge has dismissed a challenge to the new Oregon workplace meetings law which prohibits employers from firing workers who refuse to attend meetings to discuss politics, religion or union organizing.

Why should there be a need for meetings, to discuss politics, religions, or unions, three subject which have nothing to do with, service, productivity or improving. religion is a private feeling within oneself,
politics is only good for beaurocrats and politicians(they get all the benefits and perks) not the voters, they just pay for it, or haven't you noticed, unions I am sure they have their place, but I find them to be like politicians, so what is beneficial about such meetings? Giuseppe
