Rather it would be great to be able to customize the date for when the status update reminders for each project goes out and to customize when the email for all of the statuses of a portfolio gets sent.
Fully agree on the need to customize the reminder date for the reasons listed above. Many countries Friday is a weekend, and many companies and teams works a flex schedule. The work around of creating a task is clunky and often results in the status update being posted in the task instead of the Project Status section!
Finally I would add, it would even better to make this option accessible/visible to all project members as currently it is only visible to the project owner and off by default. So if I am assigning a project to a team member I am not able to set (or see if they set) this reminder which will inevitably lead to missed status updates.
The only option that I have to remind me for project status updates is on Friday. But not all projects, sprints, run on a M-F schedule. It would be very helpful to customize this field to be able to send reminders on any day of the week.
Start with one of our predefined templates or customize your own. FloQast lets you send automated reminders for expense reimbursements, task confirmations for headcount updates, and requests for more complex information like accruals.
Unfortunately, it doesn't look like Boomerang has a Slack app. Does anyone know how to get this functionality in Slack? I've researched this on the internet and the best suggestion I've found is to use /remind. That works ok, but I'd prefer something more robust that wouldn't remind me if I received a reply already.
Reminders set for messages and files will be saved in your Later view. From the In progress tab, you can adjust the time frame for reminders, mark them as complete, or archive them.
Use Remind to efficiently reinforce communication systems you already have in place. In addition to a class website, learning management system, or student agendas, you can send or schedule a text message (including attachments) to remind students and families about important due dates, upcoming tests and quizzes, schedule changes, field trips, or other pertinent information. You can also use it to extend encouraging messages before or after exams or tests, share snapshots of kids hard at work, or even check in with your kids when they have a substitute teacher.
This one has stumped me and I cannot find anyone else that has experienced this. Basically, at some point in the last couple months, I requested to be reminded of two different emails that were in my inbox. I then moved the messages to another folder so my inbox was clean. Since I moved those messages, the Remind Me folder / mailbox has been empty despite there being two unread / unresolved messages shown on that folder. See image below:
And of course -- I can't remember what messages I set to be reminded of! haha. But I have wracked my brain trying to figure out how to find the messages I asked to be reminded of and can't. There's nothing in my Reminders app and because this is an iCloud account, I'm seeing the same blank folders on my secondary Mac and my iPhone. Any ideas?
Bottomline -- if you want to be reminded of a message, don't move it out of your inbox. For me, I use my Inbox as a 'to do list' of sorts so Remind Me is completely useless outside of something I don't mind keeping in my inbox for a day or so. Really bizarre that Apple made such an inelegant feature but maybe I have too high of hopes for Mail to begin with. Hopefully this helps someone else! Thank you for coming to my TedTalk.
I just wanted to let you know you are not alone. I have been wondering in my head who on earth developed this feature and didn't test the scenario you describe above. The QA person must have been out sick that day. I now have 4 ghost reminders out there that I will never find. thank you for the tip on at least clearing the reminder.
After all these years, this is the issue that made me switch away from Apple Mail. I now have emails in the "Remind Me" folder and I have no idea what they are because the folder is empty and Mail isn't going to actually remind me. What an oversight on Apple's part!
Slack has the /remind command that allows you to set a reminder in a channel. I am trying to have slack remind me every fortnight starting from next Saturday at 8pm to jump on a call. It seems like an extension of the help documentation.
Hint: you always set the time as per your current timezone, if other people are in different time zone the reminder will be at their time, so you don't need to worry that 8pm might be for them later/earlier. You all will see reminder in the same moment.
But you need to set this. they week before you want to get notified. For e.g Today is 7th September 2018 ( Friday) and you want to get notified on 21st September 2018 ( Friday ) i.e second Friday after today ( Friday ). you need to use this command on next Friday. ie. on 14th September 2018 , use this command and slack will start reminding you after every other( second ) friday.
Conclusions and relevance: Low-cost reminder devices did not improve adherence among nonadherent patients who were taking up to 3 medications to treat common chronic conditions. The devices may have been more effective if coupled with interventions to ensure consistent use or if targeted to individuals with an even higher risk of nonadherence.
It seems like I am getting a pop up every day or every other day to upgrade Ubuntu. I click on the "Remind me later" but "later" ends up being tomorrow! I don't want to forget it entirely and do want to be reminded but just not every day. How can I set this to a week or a month or something?
"I love this app! We use it in our contact centre to set reminders when communication needs to be sent during production incidents, we use it to remind team members in a team chat when tasks are due and also in groups when reminders are needed between departments[...]This app has become an essential part of our day-to-day activities and don't know how we ever managed without it."
Manage all reminders for a chat or channel in the Reminders tab. Easily set complex reminders for yourself or others using the powerful scheduling interface. You can even add this tab to Outlook or Microsoft 365 so that you can set a reminder for yourself without switching to Microsoft Teams!
By the way, I don't know how sensitive that token is, but you may want to change your token now that you've posted it on the Internet. Or maybe not, maybe you'll have lots of people following your reminders.
This doesn't seem to work any more. I've tried several times to embed the remind widget using Kyle's code and it disappears (I insert my own widget code minus the script part and using the iframe code that Kyle provided). Can anyone still make this work?
What I would like to do is on Day X-1, send a 24 hr reminder to people who still have not used the code (understand I may have to just brute force this by a logic filter of 0 purchases again) that their code is still good, but expires in 24 hours.
If you use the same coupon tag within multiple flow messages, the recipient will receive the same unique code each time until the code expires. Due to the fact that the unique coupon will expire after 24 hours, if you wanted to create an email reminder to send a day after the customer initially gets email #1, you would have to set the coupon expiration date to 48 hours with a 24 hour time delay between the separate flow emails. By doing this, the flow can send unique coupon code day 1, wait 24 hours, send reminder and it would be the same code.
If you attempt to enroll in a case type not listed below, you will not receive reminders.

If so, the HubSpot meetings tool is a much better option for booking meetings and allows you to trigger texts. Once integrated with your calendar, the Meetings tool will indeed create an entry into your sales representative's calendar, send the attendee an invite, and can trigger automatic reminders. We used to use the log meetings tool in conjunction with calendar integration. However, once the meetings tool came out, we immediately switched to using it. The Book Meetings option can be included in email signatures, CTAs, and more. We saw a HUGE uptick in scheduled meetings because it allows the potential customer to schedule meetings right then and there without the sales representative having to book it. I believe the tool will not show availability if it is marked busy on the sale's representatives calendar and your representatives can set their business hours, availability, preferred meeting lengths, etc.
