I know programming is best learned by doing, but I'm interested in using Anki to reinforce concepts. So far I've been using the Janki method to make cards. It has helped, but I notice some difficulties:

Any medical students out there with a working link to the Ranatomy deck? My school uses the Rohen's atlas and I've heard Ranatomy uses the photos from the same book but I can't seem to find a working link anywhere

Is it better to make flashcards using anki and review them constantly or is making questions on notion better for reviewing? Or should I just take notes during lectures and review that? This is for a business/finance related course. It's got plenty of definitions and lists that need memorizing. There is also a tiny bit of micro econ, so there's graphs and some math for that. Besides that, there's an accounting class that is non-theoretical. There will be pop quizzes and tests in between but one major final exam at the end of the year. The semester starts next week. What's a good system to stay on top of my coursework and consistently review information such that I can retain it before tests and exams? I'm trying to prevent unnecessary last moment cramming. (Ps: This is not a medical or engineering course. I don't really care about retaining information long term- Just until my finals. I'm prepping for law school entrances and that's my actual goal. I just need good grades when it comes to school.)

Trying to sort out my settings on ANKI and a lot of videos I watch have this UI (which I much prefer). I'm stuck with a seemingly modernised UI with smooth corners and everything in one list and I don't like it as much, and I can't find where the settings I need are. Any idea how to change it?

I tried installing Anki on linux and it worked although not smoothly , I installed QT5 just as on my Windows 10 but now I have another problem , its not showing anything , just black , tried running anki from the terminal using "anki --no-sandbox " just as some suggested on forums , but still the same . Does anyone else have the same problem?

Hi! My anki (on Mac laptop) keeps crashing anytime I press the 'browse" button. This started a few days ago, and I initially fixed the problem by disabling/enabling my add ons. The issue has started again. I have restarted my computer, enabled/disabled my add ons, downloaded a new version of anki, checked my database/media. I cannot get any suggested tips to work.

Mine is fairly simple - I go through the PDF with Moon+ reader on an Android tablet, mark the important text passages and images, then do a second pass on my laptop where I copy-paste each passages into a card using a clipboard program that automatically joints all lines so I don't get wonky text layouts. The images I screenshot and either add to cards or use for cloze deletion.

Hello, I updated anki from 2.1.49 to 2.1.60 and I really didn't like the new UI. The top and bottom bars are too big, making it feel like it was designed for a phone or tablet. I used to be able to see all my decks and review heatmaps at once, but now I have to scroll down. I tried to zoom out but it zoom outs my cards too.

I've noticed this before, so I'm not sure why it isn't syncing up properly? any idea why it's doing this, or advise on how to fix this? ideally i should be able to pick up where i left off, on either device.
