I face this problem in both the latest version of LTspice and the discontinued version for macOS; I am also using mac venture if that is informative; normal spice simulations made in ltspice run perfectly. It is just this ".spi" is not working as intended

Hey Jens, schone von Dir zu hoeren! Wir werden naechstes Jahr verstaerkt deutsche Versionen von Videos, Artikeln usw zu machen. Und versuchen auch oefter in De praesent sein- natuerlich steht CeBIT auf dem Programm aber dabei wird es naechstes Jahr nicht bleiben-

Patch for updating to newer non-roman version 17.x.x.Changes:- Drop _download et al. like flaviut did- Adapt dependencies- Make use of msiextract (7z not working any more)- Rework versioning (Changelog only contains data version; there is a json file now for the ltspice version)- Change wine path to .local/share/wineprefixes/ltspice- some additional cleanup
