Dear Divas,
A very good morning to you all!
Once again its that time of the year.. time for us to decide our leaders for the next 1 year!
CLUB ELECTIONS!!!

Toastmasters International is an organization which gives utmost importance to honing the leadership skills in their members in a supportive learning environment. Being a part of Club Executive committee is one such opportunity which is provided to the
members to exhibit & develop their leadership qualities.
In the fraternity of Toastmasters, the core strength of any club are its members and to keep the club running and performing to the best of its potential is the responsibility of its Seven Executive Committee Members.
It is these Excom members who ensure that all matters relating to the club are handled in a seamless manner & provide equal opportunities to every member in the club meetings. This is one opportunity where you will learn what true leadership is all about,
ensuring your overall growth as an individual and as a leader.
I would like to invite each one of you to nominate yourselves to the following Executive committee positions for the upcoming term 2024 - 2025.
1- President
2- Vice President Education
3- Vice President Membership
4- Vice President Public Relations
5- Secretary
6- Treasurer
7- Sergeant-at-arms
The responsibility of the above roles is provided in the Club Leadership Handbook attached to this mail . Please refer to it to obtain more clarity of the roles.
In order to oversee the smooth process of nomination, a nomination committee has been formed comprising the following members:
1. Raji Nair, DTM- Immediate Past President
2. Shobha Murthy, DTM - Past President
3. TM Nimy Sebastian - Past President

by 21st May 2024*mentioning your name and the position/s you are nominating yourself for in the subject line :
Some general guidelines:
New members who have received their membership No. from TMI HQ are also eligible to nominate / vote.
Members nominating for themselves need to be a member in good standing( means they have to be on the club roster as on the date of their nomination ).
Nominated members can call and speak to the Nominations Committee members alone for clarifications on the Election Process.
The Nominations shall be sent to the Nominations Committee only, not to anyone else.
For any post if more than one nomination is received, an election process ( a two minutes speech to be given on the election date ) shall decide the winner.
Apart from the nominations, candidates can stand from floor at the time of elections as well.
Any candidate may nominate themselves for more than one post, however she may take over only one officer role, even if she wins both the officer roles
Please note that you may nominate yourself for a maximum of two positions at one time.
The club election will be on 28th May 2024*. Any changes will be notified in advance to you all.
