Annual Contribution Letter from Wahroonga Local Meeting 2026 (Financial Year Oct 2025 to Sept 2026)
Dear F/friend,
This letter is to ask you to contribute once again towards the annual cost of running the Society. Thank you if you have already done so for this year or if you contribute on a regular basis.
Last financial year Wahroonga Meeting made a net cash loss of about $1.3k, although our total assets increased by about $2k thanks to gains in our Australian Ethical portfolio. We continue to benefit from income from the lease of the Garden Room (approximately $10k). We spent about $8.4k on the storeroom, which most would agree has proved useful since the Garden Room is no longer available for storage. We were not therefore able to put much money aside for future maintenance or capital works, which is one of our long-term goals.
As agreed at a recent gathering of the meeting, the suggested annual contribution for 2025-2026 is therefore (as last year): $750.00.
If contributing this amount leaves you under financial strain, please give what you can, including nothing if that is necessary.
If you wish to contribute to other Quaker concerns we will pass on any additional money you contribute to those bodies. You can use the form below to indicate which groups you would like to support and add this to your total contribution. Or just contact the Treasurer, Paul, directly using the details at the top of this letter.
The preferred payment method is by direct bank transfer, either as a one-off payment or as a periodic payment throughout the year. If you prefer to give cash or pay with a cheque please contact the Treasurer (Paul) to minimise any risk involved.
