Hello, I'm new to django but allready in love with Wagtail Cms. I'm looking for a good maybe not too difficult e-commerce system for wagtail where I can add, edit, delete products in wagtail admin. Any recommendations?
regards Manuel

There's a few third party apps which may help listed here: https://github.com/torchbox/wagtail/wiki/Contributed-apps-and-website-code#e-commerce

There's also many e-commerce solutions for Django that you could plug into your Wagtail site. These would require a separate admin interface though: https://www.djangopackages.com/grids/g/ecommerce/

It might actually be possible to use Wagtail pages for a product listing and either one of the above e-commerce solutions or some custom django views to drive the basket/checkout.

It would be great to have a wagtail-shop plugin (or addon)

Does anyone have updates on this?

I do see django-oscar-wagtail and oscar-wagtail-demo which look promising, but wondering if there's anything more mature or if Torchbox has implemented this solution before.

Thanks!

Sounds like you are looking for a self hosted solution. However, if not then Shopify is an option. https://dancingsands.com/ has had Shopify integrated very nicely with a Wagtail site frontend.

I was going to use Shopify on an existing client's Wagtail site but came across Snipcart on Hacker News recently and will evaluate that first. The nice thing about Snipcart (https://snipcart.com/) is that you would model and manage your products in Django/Wagtail and therefore achieve greater backend integration than I believe is possible with Shopify.
