wanted to know if i can use WagTail to build a databse driven web application, for example a classified ad site (like craigslist's) or a dating type app or real estate listing site. (basically displaying database fields in a structured format, including images, having users filter based on conditions, clicking thru to view more details, etc,

is building something on a small scale in wagtail possible?

Yep, absolutely! You can manage both dynamic and static pages easily.

thanks, so reading, writing to a database, filtering results, displaying results, charting data isnt an issue?  an aspect of building a webapp is that each user has there access with username/pwrd, so when they login, their saved favorites, customized filters and data is different from other users.. still possible with wagtail to have logins for different users with customized contact?

can i embed applications built with other python libraries? or embed dashboards from other platforms

sorry for questions. just dont want to spend so much time/energy learning the platform and realize I cant do this like this... thanks for the help

Yes, yes, yes. All of the above. Since Wagtail is built on Django, it has limitless possibilities available to the developer, and also provides a great CMS UI for managing it. You might want to look into the Django to understand it's capabilities.
