Hi all,

I'm pleased to announce that Wagtail 5.0 is now out! Major new features in this release include:

- SVG image support
- Object usage summaries on deletion
- Greater customisation options for snippets
- Dark mode
- Support for custom validation checks on StreamField blocks
- Customisable SVG icons
- Improvements to the accessibility checker and minimap
- Official Django 4.2 support

And much more - see https://docs.wagtail.org/en/stable/releases/5.0.html for the full details. For general advice on upgrading, see https://docs.wagtail.org/en/stable/releases/upgrading.html.

In addition, we've released patch releases 4.1.5 and 4.2.3 today, addressing an issue where TableBlocks would become uneditable after the initial save.

Cheers,
- Matt

Hello Matt;
I'm happy to receive this email about improvement on wagtail. I'm trying to learn it.
The ideas that have come to my mind so far is to create an app menu like S menus and in it. so that we can use the apps that we have already created in it.
The next thing is to produce a fully detailed tutorial for bakerydemo so that it can be recreated from scratch.
Thank you very much.
