Hello everyone,

1. I would like to use wagn inside my company. This means that we will be using the app for a long time to come.
If we do, I need someone for the occasional paid one on one support. Probably 4-6 hrs per week in the beginning, and a slower pace after that.
I don’t run a major business, even waiting a couple of days to a week to schedule a session is just fine. Nothing major, but if something happens, it’s nice to know someone on the dev team’s got your back.

How can I get an hourly quote on that?

2. I’ve been using wagn for a while now and finally got around to joining the mailing list.

More Code / Less Deep
• √- Installation Scripts — Getting Wagn working is still a bit of a hassle. Many of the gem installations could be scripted, and core configuration options could be prompted.
• Quick Install -- We'd love to offer a simple installation with SQLite that users can get going in just a few clicks.
• Integration -- There are lots of opportunities to start building things that use Wagn's api. A Facebook app, a Ubiquity script, etc. We'd love to see what you can come up with.

Followed 10 ways to get involved and I got this idea:

When I first started to each for a solution like this I tried all the apps from http://bitnami.com

They are a hosting provider, I think, but the cool thing they do is make each app automagically into a VM distribution. Once in this format they are very easy to try out. Once on that list they also keep up and update the vm and everything.

I was wondering if we could get wagn on that list so they can keep supporting it.
It seems one would have to win a voting contest that’s held every month or so.

It seems wagn has already made it on that list https://bitnami.com/stack/wagn

How about we try to vote it to the top?

Thanks everyone!

:D now we just need another 300 or so and we win. That's what the main competitor is up to.

I sent a quick response to Mircea on Grass Commons' behalf, but others are welcomed to respond separately.  We hope to see a lot more Wagn support companies emerging in coming years, and we very much want to help that happen.

I'd love for Wagn to be up on Bitnami.  Given how competitive it is there, my thought has been to integrate a bitnami push with the marketing push around the 2.0 release (when Wagn will actually be renamed to "Decko").

What do others think?

Going to push for everyone to vote at my next meeting.
We still have until the end of the month.
