Test waggle dance

Hi Waggle dance users

I am very new to this, and it would be great if you can guide to do initial setup with waggle dance on data bricks. How can I test it, if some one can give a high level overview how can i do the setup?  How can I create multiple meta stores and configure it on data bricks?

Any ideas and suggestions would be helpful.

Hi,

I'm no databricks expert but you need to look for a configuration setting in databricks that points to the hive metastore Uri something like thrift://localhost:9083. Replace that with the host:port of the waggle dance instance you have running.

The original metastore Uri is what you set in the waggle dance config.

I suggest to take the tar.gz build and experiment with the default config that comes with that. The readme in the project also has many examples and explains all the properties.
