Dear CANlabers,

I am currently trying to run scn_spm_design_check to make sure my 1st level design looks well before proceeding to do DCM analysis.

When attempting this using SPM12, I get the following error message:

>> scn_spm_design_check ('C:\Users\Martin Hochheimer\Documents\4_MRI_data\MATLAB\Bachelorthesis_FEDStudy_data\analysis_data\partic_control\FED007_FED007\', 'sort_by_vif')

Index exceeds matrix dimensions.

Error in scn_spm_design_check (line 108)
allvifs = allvifs(wh_cols, 0, 'plot');

Could this be an issue with the function used for getting the wh_cols?
What can I do to fix that?

I am sending you an image of a subjects design matrix so you can see what I am working with.

Thanks a lot!

Martin

Dear CANlabers,

I have written to you a couple of times outlining problems I have been having with some of your software.

Unfortunaltely, you haven't managed to respond so far.

Since my Thesis project is coming to a close, I really need the information about the design check option and the aplication of an informed basis set within a DCM analysis.

It would be immensely appreciated, if you could respond to my mail.

Thanks a lot!

Martin

Hi Martin,

Sorry we haven’t been able to respond!  It’s likely an error with wh_cols, yes, but hard to see exactly what it is.  If its a DCM analysis some of the setup could be different from the standard GLM and could be causing the error.  Id recommend dbstop if error and seeing if you can track it down.  The error is occurring when its selecting columns of interest.  A simple call to getvif could also work for your purposes, perhaps!

Also, make sure you have the latest version of the repository on Github, at https://github.com/canlab

Cheers,
Tor
