Issue with plotting Directional Waverider Data in WAFO

I have been attempting to plot a spectra computed from a Datawell Waverider MKIII buoy. I have used the raw file which has displacement data in centimeters for heave north and west. I have used the values 18, 17 and 16 from the documentation of the tran function in WAFO for these directions. I have changed the sign of the Waverider west displacement data to match the positive towards east of WAFO. My spectra consistently come out 90 degrees off in the anticlockwise direction. Has anybody had any experience with plotting raw data from this sensor?
