You may know that the Wave team has released the v2 of its API.
I have not tested it yet.
What I see (and frown at) is that all Strings must start with \n
(antislash n). I've read this is mandatory.
I will not speak about clean code, not being a reference but this
looks ... weird.
I don't know if I inspired them with the WRF but they made it
simpler.
So far, no more capacities.xml file needed, no profile servlet
anymore, ...
It takes off some of the complexity from the start, reducing the need
for the WRF.
API v1 will be available and usable till June, 30th
I will certainly start working with this v2 to add more features
although I have already published my ideas and maybe they are being
implemented for v2.1
We'll see.
BTW, next version of WRF, based on this v2, will be v2.0
I promise to add this "\n" so that you do not have to worry about
it :)
Best Regards,
Jérôme
java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Initial content should start with a newline character
I guess it is a "Control" character and it is a good way of reminding us who is in "Control" :-)
