Ifyou have a package and want to break it down get something like 7zip and extract it to a new folder and then you can go though the drivers one by one, some times the drivers packs will say wong model and won't let you on factory Panasonic driver packs.

Hello, My name is Mike. Please bear with me i am new at this and desperately need assistance. I have a CF-31 Toughbook with an MC7750 Verizon aircard. Up until a few days ago I cannot get this thing to connect to 4G anymore. I am also using Aircard Watcher as opposed to VZW Manager.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled drivers, reinstalled AirCard Watcher, even installed the VZW manager from the panasonic site and the one on the Verizon website. I have other devices that are all connected to Verizon 4G and spoke with Verizon already. I know its not a network issue. It was working perfectly fine with AirCard watcher. Even downloading the VZW Software still shows a 3G connection.

I have read in quite a few posts that this card has a lot of issues when it comes to 4G. I even read on one post that its a known issue that if the signal drops to 3G it cannot reconnect to 4G for some reason. I hope there is someone out there that can help that has seen this issue in the past

I have this this issue myself on numerous toughbooks, but have not found a solution. It like these cards just get stuck in 3g and show 4g unavailable. Any help from sierra forum would be much appreciated!

Sorry to hear that you have issues with MC7750. Have you tried to engage Panasonic to find out what might have gone wrong? What do you get from the following AT commands response?

AT!GSTATUS?

AT+CGDCONT?

AT!SELRAT?

I used to run into a similar issue with some old Sound Blaster cards. The workaround I found was to remove the drivers, disable the card, then physically install another sound card, install the drivers for that and test it. Then uninstall those drivers, remove the new card, reboot, and enable the SB. Windows then happily started using it again.

The other one is a weird one that I found on 1 of mine, might be worth a check. Right-click the speaker icon by the time, go to Playback devices. Click whatever the main sound device is, and the properties. Go to the enhancements tab and turn off all sound effects. Especially the one (if you have it) called Loudness. This one would cause certain sounds to work, and certain sounds not to, making people think it was an intermittent issue.

Ok, some food for thought, I tired the drivers and the usb headset thing neither worked to restore on board sound. interestingly enough with the usb speakers plugged in it would boot muted but unlike the on-board speakers you could just unmute it and you would get sound. I also tried ressting the BIOS and pefroming a system restore well before it was a problem for the user still nothing worked. Anyways hope you guys have some ideas, wish this would get a little more coverage from spiceworks lol. Happy Halloween.

Seems Panasonic forgot to add the HotkeyApp driver to its CAB file or place it anywhere in their drivers list.

What seems to have been breaking sound on my machines was using the FN + F4 (mute).

I seem to be running into an issue with the Panasonic Toughbook CF-31 network drivers. The laptop can PXE boot into the PE environment and start the imaging process and has an IP address during this part, but what happens is after the second or third reboot during the OSD process, the laptop does not have an IP address anymore. Currently running SCCM 2012 R2 SP1 and trying to install Win7 SP1 x64 onto the client machine.

is your laptop, then your wireless card is an Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 8265 Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac and that should work without any non-free drivers. However i do not know whether the (optional) LTE device needs non-free drivers.

Let us know if anything is not clear. Please try and be precise about what you have tried and where you are getting stuck. Most likely, others who can help will want definitive output from commands that they will provide and request that you run.

On the Japanese site, the website we will be talking about for the rest of the article, it has an easy-to-use search function allowing you to specify your model number of your Toughbook and what you are looking for, i.e., manual, drivers, and firmware. You can then select the operating system you have loaded on your Toughbook and the language in which you want the information presented. Once you have all the dropdowns entered as you intended, you only need to click the search button, which looks like a large magnifying glass.

Occasionally, you may encounter an issue while using your Toughbook that you cannot resolve on your own; the manual may be able to guide you through troubleshooting steps to resolve the problem. Not only that, but the manual may be able to provide valuable information regarding maintenance, safety instructions, warranty information, and provide information on different ways you can customize your Toughbook. On top of that, you will find helpful user guides and tips along the way, as well as guidance on Panasonic software and driver installation. Making the most out of what the manual can provide can save you time and frustration with your rugged device.

Update the mouse driver to the touchpad/touchpanel driver for your model number from the panasonic website. Windows will automatically use a generic mouse driver because mouse "has" to work. It's is the ps/2 mouse driver that must be updated to the correct driver then your touchscreen should start working correctly.

I'm having problems with my touchscreen also. I have a air force only model and can't find the drivers. If anyone could point me in the right direction I would appreciate it. Panasonic was no help at all

Have you checked under the device manager in WinXP to make sure that all your peripherals are recognized? And like lingster mentioned, turn it on in the BIOS. It appears that there are a few people that have the same issues. The way I would proceed is to

you should not have to disassemble to check hardware. there are software tools like SIW for windows. If you can boot into OS it will tell you everything you need to know about the system. its free to use on personal equipment, I purchased the life time Tech license and use it daily.

The order in which your drivers are installed may well determine if your touchscreen will work. To fix this issue, you need to load the needed drivers on a flash drive or another machine. I suggest www.toughbookdrivers.com/drivers/cf-29/

Finally, install the Touchpad/Touchscreen driver FIRST. Install then video, then audio, then the rest....EXCEPT save the LAN and WLAN drivers, respectively, for LAST. If you have GPS, add after LAN and WLAN drivers are installed.

Try to get a driver touch screen driver from fujitsu for win7. I saw online that somebody was successful when they did this. You may have to reinstall the touchpad driver for xp afterwards, using have disk. Good luck

Uninstall the Mouse driver, then reinstall it (NOTE: make sure you install the correct driver for your unit! You will need the ENTIRE model number to find the right driver from Panasonic. This is found in BIOS or on the bottom of your machine.)

I have the software. I have to send it on a memory stick. Then I would ship it to you. The will give you and Web Address with a video will show you step by step. This will Cost You $50.00 E-mail gale...@gmail.com

The MarkIII definetely has a calibration utility. I have one here (confirmed MK3: CF-29HXXXXX and touchscreen) it consists of nine "crosses" that you have to press using stylus and then you must press enter to confirm it

I have the same problem as you do with the drivers. But if you go on ebay and find some one with the drivers that came with them new or a recovery disk for it. But here is the trick!!! the wifi didnt come with the cf28. so what in doing is my father has the cf29 wich came with wifi and gps so i will copie his in to my hard drive and if it works. I will put it on her. because if you have wifi on a cf28 it was a up grad. if you dont believe me. call panisanic tech at 1(800)527)8675
