I have been @ ALDEN POINTE for SENIORS here in Hattiesburg @ MY expense since KATRINA. Does ANY ONE ANY WHERE thing thats FAIR? I'm NOT even sixty-five. EVERY one else here is OVER SEVENTY. MOST of them OLDER. (Mr. Massengale was 101 when he passed away) I PAY MY OWN WAY ALSO. FOR ANY AND EVERY THING I DO.
DEATH is THE most frequent visitor here. It's hard to make friends, I know they are going to die...as I often type I 'forgot' to. (ONE in 15 people even SURVIVE a bran aneurysm...FACT from the doctor)....I do EVERY thing I EVER did but drive. EVERY thing....you can't have cars here.
Oh, I DO KNOW dAVEs CORRECT E...I like to get them back so I can preuse them again, re-send (Mutter, (and she does mutter) REALLY loves her gin. Not just 'likes' ......She drives it like 'water'......Don't EVER take a sip out of water.... I made that mistake AND you can watch her drive). (I will NEVER get in a car if she's behind the wheel. My sister has to take off work to drive 'us' to the doctor. Of course I am NOT allowed to talk to the doctor...He 'retired' mother, NOT his whole practice. We go to a new one next time. I have the snail for the nurse, she told me it was mother, NOT me. (Seems magazines do NOT know more than doctors).
Mother says I 'have' to use the attorney AND court SHE did....SHE WILL NOT TELL ME WHO AND WHERE. She's not looked up the definition of the word 'conservator' either.
I am SICK of death/death/death....illness & illness....AND death.
Am VERY sweet/polite/and ALWAYS positive to EVERY one who lives and works here...(I have a light bulb out...Ricky has his 1st weekend off in over a month. (He's our 'head' nurse, AND the maintenance man. He's the directors husband. (She buys THE cheapest of any & every thing she can find) (He also works 6 days a week EVERY week) So apologies for the bold type.
Yall are tired of my laments I know. I AM sorry, but since KATRINA??....THIS is my 'short stay' ..... My aunt died LAST year (She was in MY 'mini manor' that I paid for)...Mother has a 3 bedroom/2 bath house & lives alone. Catherine lost everything in Katrina...had to buy even clothes again....well the house stood and is livable...but my grandparents house next door had to be razed...it was older than Grasslawn...the homes were built for sisters.
Sorry, guess yall are tired of me every week....I am tired of DEATH....AND the rent here is going up....again...too many employees have quite because they pay THE bare minimum....the girl hired to 'work' the desk is now on the Alzs wing & can't afford to quit..unlike the 1st 2 activity directors AND the cook. They DID quit. (We seldom see the 3rd one...her family lives on the coast, and we don't HAVE activities. I am on my own 24/7 except I do eat lunch & supper NEVER breakfast.
Sorry....I'm really NOT a complainer, EXCEPT to yall and I NEVER correct my mother. NEVER. I am VERY respectful. I ALSO do a LOT around here to help. A LOT.
I know my stats: ONE in 15 even LIVE through an 'anne' *annie & I have made friends ....just as dAVE has made friends with his 'Lou'.
Simple put: I NEED a LIFE/in TEXAS/where my brothers, my son & dAVE live.
Yes he types his name dAVE, so I do.
One doctor calls me 'twinkle toes' and both will tell you I AM exceptional..I can do EVERY thing I did prior to my 'annie' (Oh: I NEVER spelled....neither did my daddy) (I have two pictures of daddy on my walls....one from a brother and one from a dear friend. (Friend sent her brother to the bank. They made me a copy and didn't charge him) (I've never sold a single share of my stock either...My siblings all have...which they regret now...the bank has grown quite a bit & we are not the 'majority' stockholders anymore, BECAUSE they sold. We now several branches. My pappy would be VERY disappointed in the three) EVERY share of mine goes to my son. HE will never sell either...(He gave me both is Eagle Scout promise and Masons)
I balance well....EVEN Canadian bank accounts & they are VERY different from ours.
Oh stars are they different. However banking IS 'in my blood'......
Well tomorrow (now) is Sunday. I go to Logans on Sunday night. Debbie dosen't realize it's a chain and she WON'T hear it from me. I would NEVER be unkind and tell her not only is it a chain, there's one near Lubbock. I never hurt anyones feelings intentionally and I DON'T lie/cheat OR steal. I was raised by the 'Eagle Scout' Code of Honor. Since I was a child. Thanks to my daddy.

My 1st husband was Joe Newton....parents were Guy & Mary Newton. Guy was a cotton farmer...really short man. Mary was a HEALTH care nurse who kept THE dirtiest, messiest, run-down house you EVER saw. I used to take my own pillow to SIT on. I THINK Joe is in the old house...to spend the night was a night was a nightmare. (Joe USED to be a small, quiet man....He got abusive....how did I know? He was so quiet. And Senatobia was as far away as I could get from mother. (We ALL say 'mother'.....daddy was ALWAYS 'daddy) I can't believe I ended up back in Columbia @ mothers till Katrina. OH, and now Joe so FAT he walks with a cane.
Newtons 1st child was Gary. He married Linda. They had one child also, a girl. (Amy) They lived next door. Linda didn't do anything...her house WAS a BIT cleaner. Gary taught & was a primitive Baptist preacher. Amy married before she finished high school I have NO idea what she does now, except have babies.
I know Cathy (the 2nd child) married and moved ASAP....She's never come back, except I assume, to her parents funerals. (She married a Baptist preacher) Funny thing about a brain aneurysm, at least mine, I remember NO deaths except my daddys which was a nightmare. (Mother remarried LESS than a year after daddy died to a man she had NEVER met before) St. Stephens has a stained glass window over the altar...1/2 to Dick Rankin & 1/2 to Bill Beach.
I use Rankin legally....the 4 of us have a pine tree farm: Rankin/Rankin/Rankin & Arinder.
Besides I prefer my name....
And ALL my pictures and high-school annuals disappeared...Mother says says she dosen't know what happened to them. So I don't have those to help me with my memory.
I lived with a family in Quebec for a couple years. Andre wasn't divorced from his 1st wife, there was no 'relationship' between us...I was there for the girls. Their mother had ended up in a mental 'institution'....I don't speak French plus we were in an Italian neighborhood. Of course I ended up finding out 'why' .... Andre was into lesbians.
BACK to Joe: The skinny man is now so fat he waddles with a cane. I have a cane to help my balance. I DON'T need it anymore....Mother does...Am her 'hapless daughter'....
The man who re-taught me to walk used to have his grandfather here...he's in a nursing home now. David Harvision had his 2nd child & 1st daughter several months ago...I spent my 'allowance' buying Grace a baby gift...how could I NOT...He re-taught me to walk AND his daughters middle name is Grace....I call her Grace, Gail, because I believe in my angels, and Grace is my 'angel angel' since I was small. (A woman here gave me her cross-stitch of 'Amazing Grace' and Gail, the black woman who works the kitchen on this wing (there are 3....the 3rd is for the Alzs. patients...sang her first solo @ church & chose 'Amazing Grace' because I had told her the story behind the song.
There's an old man here @ Alden Pointe whose son-in-law is English & he teaches Computer classes @ the junior college in Senatobia. The woman lives here in Hattiesburg and he comes home weekends. (They met on the internet & both were married before).
Long story, sorry....I hope you are happy Gail. I will be ONE day. My GOAL is Lubbock, Texas. THEN I will be happy also. Mother dosen't understand the difference between a CONSERVATOR (which SHE is) and a guardian. I have to UN-conserve her...I don't know if she went through Harrison or Marion courts.....& THIS is NOT conservative OR happy.
She acts like she dosen't care. She dosen't like my son (only child) Ben because he reminds her of daddy.
E me ANY time Gail...I won't be negative next time about where I am...& I won't get off on my failed marriages.
For you I wish health and HAPPINESS....this IS the only life we have.

He was so quiet. And Senatobia was as far away as I could get from mother. (We ALL say 'mother'.....daddy was ALWAYS 'daddy) I can't believe I ended up back in Columbia @ mothers till Katrina. OH, and now Joe so FAT he walks with a cane.
Newtons 1st child was Gary. He married Linda. They had one child also, a girl. (Amy) They lived next door. Linda didn't do anything...her house WAS a BIT cleaner. Gary taught & was a primitive Baptist preacher. Amy married before she finished high school I have NO idea what she does now, except have babies.
I know Cathy (the 2nd child) married and moved ASAP....She's never come back, except I assume, to her parents funerals. (She married a Baptist preacher) Funny thing about a brain aneurysm, at least mine, I remember NO deaths except my daddys which was a nightmare. (Mother remarried LESS than a year after daddy died to a man she had NEVER met before) St. Stephens has a stained glass window over the altar...1/2 to Dick Rankin & 1/2 to Bill Beach.
I use Rankin legally....the 4 of us have a pine tree farm: Rankin/Rankin/Rankin & Arinder.
Besides I prefer my name....
And ALL my pictures and high-school annuals disappeared...Mother says says she dosen't know what happened to them. So I don't have those to help me with my memory.

Their mother had ended up in a mental 'institution'....I don't speak French plus we were in an Italian neighborhood. Of course I ended up finding out 'why' .... Andre was into lesbians.

The man who re-taught me to walk used to have his grandfather here...he's in a nursing home now. David Harvision had his 2nd child & 1st daughter several months ago...I spent my 'allowance' buying Grace a baby gift...how could I NOT...He re-taught me to walk AND his daughters middle name is Grace....I call her Grace, Gail, because I believe in my angels, and Grace is my 'angel angel' since I was small. (A woman here gave me her cross-stitch of 'Amazing Grace' and Gail, the black woman who works the kitchen on this wing (there are 3....the 3rd is for the Alzs. patients...sang her first solo @ church & chose 'Amazing Grace' because I had told her the story behind the song.
There's an old man here @ Alden Pointe whose son-in-law is English & he teaches Computer classes @ the junior college in Senatobia. The woman lives here in Hattiesburg and he comes home weekends. (They met on the internet & both were married before).
Long story, sorry....I hope you are happy Gail. I will be ONE day. My GOAL is Lubbock, Texas. THEN I will be happy also. Mother dosen't understand the difference between a CONSERVATOR (which SHE is) and a guardian. I have to UN-conserve her...I don't know if she went through Harrison or Marion courts.....& THIS is NOT conservative OR happy.
She acts like she dosen't care. She dosen't like my son (only child) Ben because he reminds her of daddy.
E me ANY time Gail...I won't be negative next time about where I am...& I won't get off on my failed marriages.
