The World Language Department seeks an energetic, outgoing professional to join our Foreign Language department in August of 2020. Part-time teaching duties include 1 section of 8th grade, 2 sections of 4th grade on a rotating cycle and 1 section of 6th grade. The candidate will have the skills necessary to differentiate instruction, taking students at their developmental levels and supporting growth academically, socially, and emotionally. The ability to collaborate with parents and colleagues and contribute to a strong learning community is important.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree, Education and fluent in Mandarin and/or have 3-5 years equivalent experience in the classroom required. Ideal candidates will need knowledge of and experience using technology. Qualified candidates will possess a passion for inclusion and community efforts.
