Dear WACLT members,

The next issue of digital newsletter VOICE for WAFLT is quickly approaching its due date. It is a wonderful platform to showcase our Chinese programs to the colleagues in Wisconsin. Please consider to share some information (past, current, future) about your program. Anything you like to share with our professional community of your program is welcomed ( Examples: field trips, China trips, Chinese new year celebration, exchange/collaboration programs, award info, etc.)

All you need to do is to write a few sentences in English about the updates (photos will be great!). You may reply to all or email me at this email: y...@sunprairieschools.org  (CCed in this email)
Due date: December 20th

Look forward to hearing from you all, and have a wonderful week ahead,

All you need to do is to write a few sentences in English about the updates (photos will be great!). You may reply to all or email me at this email: y...@sunprairieschools.org  (CCed in this email). You can also find me in group Wechat if needed.

Due date: December 20th

Look forward to hearing from you all, and have a wonderful weekend!

Hello Echo,

Here is a short article for consideration for submission:

On Saturday, December 7 the Verona Area International School (VAIS), a K-5 public Chinese Immersion School located in Fitchburg, WI, hosted a Chinese Story and Craft time at the Verona Public Library. This bilingual event, led by the K/1 teacher, Lumei Huang, featured Eric Carle's classic story The Very Hungry Caterpillar in Chinese, a variety of songs in Chinese led by VAIS students and several crafts. Over 110 community members enjoyed the event.

Join VAIS in celebrating the Year of the Rat with a Chinese New Year Celebration at the Verona Public Library on Saturday, January 25, at 10am, flyer below. All ages welcome!
