Trivia Contest discussion of Rules

Hi Amanda, I don't think not knowing the answers "disqualifies" you, unless you mean if we use the question then you won't be able to answer it?  I have 2 questions I don't know the answers to.  Maybe you can help.  1.What was our class gift to the school?  2.What was the purpose of selling magazine subscriptions?  (were the magazine subscriptions junior year?)  And yeah it is fun.  :)  Later, Rodger

I guess I was wondering if I should not try to answer the questions I submit because I already know the answers. I'll go with whatever rule is in place, but let me know asap so I can revise my answers!

We don't have any rules.  Logically I don't see any difference in disqualifying yourself when you do know the answer and disqualifying yourself when you don't know the answer.  How about you decide-  if you answer we will count it and if you don't answer we won't count it.  Do you remember a lesson probably from Mrs. Kirkland about people running for office and voting for themselves?  She said of course you should vote for yourself, or otherwise you should not be running.  You vote for whom you believe is the best candidate.  Or is that even applicable to this?

Did you see the Friends episode when Joey and Chandler were playing a game Chandler made up called "Cups"?  Chandler made up the rules as they played so Joey would win.  Well that's kind of my view of these trivia contests.  It's all fun and everyone wins. :)

How come you didn't join the Google group for this yet?  We should be having this type of intellectual discussion on there so everyone can see.
