Greetings:
The 2010 General election is now behind us, and although the results were not what we had hoped, we never stopped working to communicate our message.

Each day meeting the constituents of the 46th District, we tried to convey our concerns regarding jobs, cuts in public education and taxes.  We talked about Hoosiers struggling to find jobs or keep their jobs while trying to provide for their families.

Running for State Representative has been the adventure of a life time, as well as an education.  Learning the political terrain, and history, while meeting the great people of the District has been rewarding. I will never forget the things I have learned while on the trail.

I am proud of this campaign—we addressed issues concerning jobs and establishing a “workers preference program”; fighting cuts in public education and making it the priority in next year’s budget.   We talked about loss of revenue to cities, towns and counties.  We also asked for transparency in our state government.  These issues will remain in the forefront for the next two years.

Although my term of office as Township Trustee ends December 31st, I will continue to be a public servant and seek ways to improve not only the 46th District, but the State of Indiana.

Thank you for your friendship, old and new, your dedication to the Democratic Party and its strong slate of candidates.  Thank you for your support, but more importantly, I appreciate all your hard work and effort.  I look forward to working with all of you in the near future.
