It's high time, but it looks like the debate about reducing carbon is
beginning to improve. Note the sophisticated point being made by
economics writer Shane Wright in The West when he points out that
taxpayers are already coughing up money to deal with climate change
because of declining rainfall in southern WA. here is the link:

This article in the West by economics writer Shane Wright suggests
that the debate on carbon reduction is improving. Wright points out
that in opting for desalination plants to deal with declining rainfall
due to global warming, taxpayers are already footing the bill.
