As anticipated, the article worked like a bell in the ear of Pavlov's dog- all the usual suspects are drooling up their usual nonsense. Unfortunately OLO is becoming a training ground for Australia's equivalent of the Taliban- every attempt at reasonable exposition is met with a barrage of well-rehearsed denialism. the more reasonable the article, the more practice they get at strutting their claptrap. Unfortunately these same types seem to be metastacising and spreading out to Crikey, Climate Spectator, Business Spectator, ABC's The Drum and any other blogsite that has become a venue for topical discourse.

I think that we'd be better off putting more effort into wa2020 and leaving the aforesaid site to the loonies- they can't feed off each other- they need reason to fight against. Starve 'em out!
