- Core Oracle Databases Administration (10G R2, 11G R2) - O/S (AIX, Linux and Windows) - Scripting and Programming (SQL, PL/SQL, Shell Scripting, Perl & APEX) - Performance Tuning (System Tracing, Explain Plan, Autotrace, TKPROF, AWR/Statspack, ASH) - Backup and Recovery (RMAN, Split Mirror SAN) - High Availability and DR (RAC and Data Guard) - Oracle Database Features (Oracle Streams, Advanced Queuing, Partitioning, Virtual Private Database, Materialised Views) - Monitoring Tools (Oracle Grid Control & SiteScope) - Database Storage (Raw, GPFS, & ASM) - Clustering Technology (HACMP, 10G Clusterware, 11G Grid Infrastructure) - Database Security (TDE, Encryption, Auditing and Authentication) - Strong Problem Solving Skills and attention to detail. - Contribution to and Maintenance of Team Knowledge Base - ITIL Principles (Change, Incident & Problem Management) - 24*7*365 Production Database Support experience - An understanding of the requirements of the PCI-DSS definition - Strong problem resolution skills are essential.
