: I can't work it out when did Perth become such a shit place? I have
: lived here all my life and it has just crept up whithout me noticing
: it. Everyone is out for themselves, getting ahead is done at someones
: expense, someone stumbles in life and in moments a crowd appears
: ready to kick them so they never get up again. Hate, revenge and
: punishment are words constantly on everyones lips. Granny bashing,
: burglary, rippoffs, gangs, shady deals, stabbings, murder, rape,
: bigotry, hate crimes and racism are just part of daily life now.
: How did we ever become such dispicable bunch of wretches
: WTF is wrong with this place?
Its the same in all major cities in Australia now (and many smaller regional
areas as well), its not Perth specific.

Welcome to multi-culturism.
It's great isn't it , now you have a choice of what ethic group can mug
, bash you and steal your car.

I suppose, if Perth was single-cultured, you'd have a choice?
i'm guessing it's not even australia specific, tho i have no personal
experience of anywhere but perth. i've noticed it too, but i
co-attributed it to myself becoming more jaded in my late 20s.

Yeah, when you kids suddenly realise you really *don't* know everything.
Ahh, where to start...
It's not one singular thing thats wrong, its a combination of many things that
on their own would possibly appear quite innocent. Everything from bad parenting
to the trash on TV, unnatural lighting to the chemicals in the foods we eat.
All I know is that if my great-grandparents who had to cut the track that they
used to settle here could see this place today, they'd probably wonder why they
bothered.
