Vice President Position 25/26

Hello everyone.

It is with great regret that I have to withdraw my nomination for the Vice President of the VHF Group for year 25/26. This is due to the fluid health of a family member which puts the guarantee of me being able to fill the duties of the vice president.
To me that is unfair to the president and the club, as the vice president is there to deputies for the president when the president is unavailable. as I cannot guarantee that I will be available to do that.

If you were thinking of nominating for the position now is the time to do so.
Let Dave and Mark know, the sooner the better.
I thank everyone for the support shown to me over these past years I have been your VP.
I will continue to be a member, voice my opinions, air my ideas , ruffle feathers etc etc etc.
I will join in activities if I can, such as running the net on RLM the second Monday of the month. It would be good for others to do so. Get experience on air.

I wish my successor all the best in this wonderful roll.
Maybe it is time for fresh blood WHO knows.

Hello Robert, 

Let me be the first to thank you for all that you have done for the club, and more recently the solid support you have given me since Denis handed over the reins last year. I hope for the best for your family, which of course comes before all else.

To everyone else, Robert has left rather large shoes to fill, and it would not be fair to expect anyone else to work that hard. I would welcome ANY effort, noting that it's not all hard work, there's also fun to be had, and knowledge to be gained along the way.
