Hi everyone,

At our regular VHF Group meeting last week, someone asked if we intend to run our September Annual General Meeting (AGM) at Wireless Hill.

The answer is that the AGM will be online this year (i.e. over the Internet). We have found this year that the Club's online meetings receive better attendance, but we don't have the resources to run a meeting at Wireless Hill that will reliably connect into the online meeting, nor cope with more than one or two people in the same location. We would need a large screen/projector, computer, cabling, and someone to manage all that, as well as a fast reliable internet connection.

However, if it is difficult for you to connect to an online AGM, one of our members is prepared to try to find an in-person venue South of the River, that has an audio-visual connection which could connect into the online AGM. This would be an in-person venue available to anyone who prefers not to connect from their QTH, or does not have the Computer or Smart-phone needed to connect to a Google meet meeting.

If this is something that would make attending the AGM a lot easier for you, please contact myself, or Mark Dixon (MDof...@outlook.com) as soon as possible.

We would appreciate if anyone wishing to take up this offer contact us PRIOR to Monday 8th September, so we know how many people, and have time to make arrangements and test AV equipment well ahead of the meeting.
