Demonstrating ARDF (Amateur Radio Direction Finding / fox hunting) at a local primary school using a WA VHF Group Bunnings Yagi. This was part of the CSIRO STEM for schools program. Schools near you are keen to receive visitors with a background in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Maths.

That's great, Mark. Were the students engaged with what you were showing?

Excellent Mark

Several years ago Robert and I in conjunction ith Museum staff held a competition highlighting NASA's involvement at Wireless Hill.   While there was a lot of enthusiasm from the students, when Robert and I approached their STEM teachers who had turned up for the prize winners' certificates, we were promised some action but there was never any follow up from their side :-)

Fingers crossed that the attitudes might have changed.
