Hi All,

Yesterday, I forwarded an email I received from Greg ZL1GUD (@proton.me) with a PDF attachement of his latest (Issue #3) NZ and AU Amateur Radio magazine, a free, 40-page publication. Unfortunately it bounced due to the attachment size limit for our mail reflector, so I'm sending just the text of the email now, and if anyone wishes the (17MB) pdf I can email it directly to them on request.

Or I'll email it to Mark and ask for it to go on our website, or something.

Here's Greg's message:
Good evening from across the ditch

I thought it was time there was a bit of interaction between the Ozzie Hams and the Kiwi Hams and so started this free magazine. We are on edition No 3 and it is growing. It is tending towards POTA and SOTA but that is just becasue those hams are the most active here. We are looking for general news, DX-Peditions, POTA activations and basically anything ham related, and hope to have some visits in both directions and maybe a joint DXpedition or Hamfest or Ham Jamboree.

The magazine is FREE and this month we had our first contribution from Australia and was hoping to inspire some of you to submit articles with some pics for the magazine.

If this does not appeal to you let me know and I won't send it to you again.

Best 73's from Christchurch NZ

Thanks Dave

I would like to recv their magazine and it is an opportune timing because the contact, in part, may have been stimulated by our involvement in the recent Operation Manna special event.

Robert managed to capture the attention of ZL clubs thanks to a mutual interest in Lancaster's and the participation in Manna as part of a combined force.

Amazing what a bit of outreach can achieve hi hi.

DXpedition eh?  Sounds encouraging.   And they mention the J word, Jamboree.    Participation in JOTA maybe if the bands are willing.

Cheers
Denis
