FYI my QTH in Yokine is @  65m  ASL the antenna is on a 6m mast.

Its Diamond X5000 vertical with a claimed gain of 11.7 dBi coax is 20 metres of LMR 600

btw I also have a 12 element 23cm yagi.

I was using 100mW into a 30dB attenuator. (2 X15dB in series)
This equates to 0.1mW TX.
9700 set at 100mW output.
Distance 20km.
