Another thought to entice you to Wireless Hill tomorrow (Sat 23th): Someone called asking if we can assist with some old transistor radios and also an audio sound system. It would be great to be able to help them, and also the Pox Eclipse guys at the shack!
Regards, Mark.

Subject: Pox Apocalypse
My son William, who once visited us for advice on a satellite receiver, is involved in an event called Pox Eclipse (https://www.pox-eclipse.com/about) in Doodlakine next month. One of the things they do there is operate a low powered local FM radio station during the event. Their equipment apparently has developed some problems with its antenna, and static on the audio. I said some of us VHFers might be able to assist. I've coordinated with Dave to open the shack on Saturday (13th, not a regular activity day for us) to help with that.
You are invited to come and have a look and see if you can assist - from noon.
Regards, Mark Dixon VK6EZ
Secretary, WA VHF Group.
