Dear Party Leader,
It's that time of year…the Institute for a Democratic Future (IDF) is accepting applications for the class of 2012!
Do you know talented young adults, 21-36 years of age, who might be interested in the upcoming class? Have them APPLY TODAY!
IDF is a six-month long civics program for men and women focusing on three core areas: public policy, the legislative process and campaigns/elections. The program is entering its 16th year and they hope to have another excellent class who will continue to do great things post-graduation: working for our Democratic allies, moving public policy mountains, shaking up the Washington establishment and, of course, running for office.
The six-month program, starting in January 2012, will take next year's class all over the state and to Washington DC. They will hear from elected officials, former alumni, policymakers and local leaders.
IDF is proud of their alumni - and they boast their successes whenever they can. IDF has too many alumni changing the political landscape in Washington to name individually. Labor leaders, congressional, legislative and council staff, campaign workers, political consultants, lawyers, policy staff, fundraisers, and engaged citizens who volunteer on campaigns or form their own political organizations. Can you help us build the next great class? Do you know someone who might be interested in the program?

IDF will be accepting applications in the “early application period” through November 16th with interviews the weekend of December 10th/11th. Late applications will be accepted until Monday, November 21st; however, the application fee jumps up to $40. So applying early is best!
