 Hi Folks,

 

Nice showing last night to figure out what our season will look like together.  After some much deserved catch up time, we got down to brass tacks and a couple folks put themselves out there in search of gold and divisional staffing.  John Eliason is going for tech team and Elena Gordon is going for level three this season. 

 

The general agreement was to get them there by following their lead.  All involved will benefit.  This is a unique opportunity for them to put themselves out there to a discerning audience for organization, presentation, and performance.  Let’s give em our best.  We’ll keep the dream alive and look forward to more good wine together.  If any others would like to commit to a measurable goal (i.e. exam or try-out), let us know.  We’d like to help.

Looking forward to a great evening tomorrow.  I have a subset of slides from the TD fall session at Timberline to share showing new emphasis on skills and what is new and what is the same.  As well, I plan to bring some activities on controlling pressure and rotary.  To top it off, I have some Level 3 video for MA review on medium radius turns with the group per Kevin's request.  We will primarily describe the characteristics of how the skis are moving with ski snow interaction for the MA review.  It should be a great evening of learning and exploration.

If possible, please review the first 3 chapters of the new Alpine ski manual that we introduced at our last session.

Hi John, Nice job! This sounds like a fantastic session that you have planned! I like how you have assigned a little prep/home work to help everyone be prepared for your content/topic. I am glad to see you guys and gals are still rocking it!

 

My schedule is pretty tight but IF I can free up I might just have to try to get there. It would be fun to see everyone. If I don’t make it tomorrow night, it is not because I did not want to.
