Ok sorry. I am working on the foxhunt beacon transmitter. School club roundup is in February, we will be getting pizza and anyone can transmit without a license. We need to dis cuss during that week when we should meet for that competition. Our new digital radios are in and today we had a blast doing antenna comparisons to acieve max performance on the digital repeater. 

Any project you guys wanna do you can.

We will be doing more with the digital repeater now we have 2 hand held radios.

I will have Ken give us a talk on it soon and learn more about this technology.

 

This Thursday night at the Akron Linux meeting we will have an in-depth Raspberry pi talk. Everyone is invited and you can check out the meetup page and mail list for more information.

Rick when I move back to medina, closer drive, I'd like to go to one again. That's the place where you get good food at a good price  at that hungarian restutant then a presentation goes on right?

Yes the New Era Cafe is a Eastern European restaurant but as all the regulator food too.

We start arriving at 6:30 and order by 7 and start the talk at 8pm.

 The meeting is always the 1st Thursday of each month.

This month we will be setting up the raspberry pi talk earlier and talking about it over dinner.

It should be a great time to learn more about the Raspberry pi and Ubuntu distribution.
