Dominion Telecom opening E55th

Hello All,

Wanted to pass the word if anyone is interested or know of someone who is.

There is an opening with Dominion Energy (East Ohio Gas) out of our E55th office for an entry level Telecom Technician.  Attached is the job description.  First class FCC (now called GROL) is required or similar qualification.

Company vehicle, report from home (based our of 55th CLE), Shifts are usually 7-3 or 8-4 (may get to pick time slot). Usually get a decent amount of overtime and call outs through the year.

Union position, start at union rate. Some wiggle room may be available with your experience.

- HRA $1800 paid each year, company pays 100% of this

- Home start

- Usually 3% union rate raise every 6months or so.
- Company 401K match 6%

- Telecom territory is most of Ohio. (Youngstown, Cleveland, Canton, Marietta, Woodsfield, Cambridge, Wooster, Toledo, Ashtabula, Lima.  Nothing in Columbus, or out towards Dayton)

Work may include a bit of everything from old 202T modems to present day IP routers, microwave interconnects, phone systems, LMR 2-way radio repair/install, computers in vehicles, etc.
