Its going to be some nice weather. Maybe we can do a fox hunt or a demo of some ham radio equipment out side for the general students that walk by.
I may go out to check on the receiver site too.
See everyone at Zook.

Unfortunately, by doctor's orders I'm still at home for today and tomorrow. I'm supposed to go back up on wednesday so hopefully next week will be nice too!

See you all soon!

Hi All, We have a meeting tonight at 7pm in the shack. I am going to try the key again for the repeater receiver site.
We have lots of projects on the table and would like to get the rotor and mass pipe all worked out for the HF antenna. That may be done before the antenna goes up.

On anther point.
The ARES net is now on Monday nights at 7:30pm using the 444.55+ 131.8pl  repeater.
That is a good one for us to do as a group and if anyone is wanting to get emergency response training that will be offered for free at the Red Cross in Akron.
For more info, visit this group at  http://www.sumco-ares.org/

We will start having some guest speakers on different topics. Let's get a list started of what you would like to see.
PIC programing, RF antenna design, Contesting, CW classes, DX-Expeditions, Add some more to the list!

See everyone later.

Hi Lee, I know how classes get at this time of year. No problem at all.
Next Monday Dr Grover will be giving a pic programming talk. We also ahve some other projects that we are working on. The HF antenna is about ready to go together also.
We have some good ideas for classes so we can help out with the tech test.
Hope to see  you next week.
