The Aug 2013 meeting of the Amateur Radio Transmitting Society meeting is this Friday Aug 9th at 7:30pm in the community room at the McMahan Fire station. It’s on Taylorsville Road east of Hikes Point about halfway to Hurstbourne Lane, near the intersection of Lowe Road. Park around the back of the building. See the club website at http://www.w4cn.org for a map, directions and more information.

This month we will be joined by Paul Kern/NK4P, Manager, Disaster Response at American Red Cross Louisville Area Chapter to talk to us about the Red Cross and what is going on with that organization.

As always anyone is welcome to attend. Please come, and bring a friend, significant other, child, spouse or anyone else!
