The ARTS Club will have its annual dinner in place of the November meeting. It will be held at East Star Buffet at 161 Outer Loop on Friday Nov. 14th at **630pm** (EARLIER THAN THE REGULAR MEETING TIME).

This a great time for long lost members, or former members, spouses, and old friends to come spend an evening renewing some friendships.

Here is the restaurant website: http://www.eaststarbuffetky.com/

It is a chinese buffet, but there is a wide selection of other choices on the buffet as well if you are not a big chinese food fan, so don't let that keep you from coming along.

Other club items of note:
- The club continues to request everyone to take the time and fill out the short survey on club meeting days/times.  Some have requested we consider another day for the regular meetings and we are taking a survey of all members, non-members, and former members who would like to provide their opinion on this issue.  The results will be presented in an upcoming meeting, so please go fill the survey out now if you have not already.  Thanks.  Here is the link to the quick survey: http://bit.do/w4cn-survey-2014

- The ARTS Club has some equipment for sale: Icom ID-800H DSTAR Mobile, IC-7100 HF Radio, Rigblaster Duo, and Yaesu MD-200A8X High Fidelity Desk Microphone.  More information and photos on the w4cn website page here: https://sites.google.com/site/w4cnclub/equipsales

Thanks!
Don

Dear ARTS Club Members:

The repeater work day scheduled for tomorrow at 2 PM is going to need to
be rescheduled. I had an auto accident this morning. I'm basically OK, but
rattled and getting sore, so I'm going to try to take it easy for a couple
of days. Let's plan on trying again next weekend. Sorry for the
inconvenience.
