ARTS Club April Meeting THIS friday @ 730pm - Using your HF Radio Remotely

The April 2013 meeting of the Amateur Radio Transmitting Society meeting is this Friday April 12th at 730pm in the community room at the McMahan Fire station at 4318 Taylorsville Road in Louisville, KY. All are welcome to attend, you do not have to be a member to come to an ARTS meeting. 

This month Don Hoover WS4E (that's me) will be doing a presentation about how to use your HF Rig remotely over the internet when traveling, what software to use what things you need, how to hook it up, and get going.  This will provide you the ability to do SSB, CW, PSK etc.. This will be complete with a demonstration hopefully as long as AT&T or Verizon cooperates.

Also, lots of stuff will be given away that was donated to the club such as cables, some CB radios, etc.  Freebies are good right?
