Hi guys

 

Im just writing to ask if any of you has an original XP professional OEM cd that you could lend me?

 

Im asking because my system (which used to be an IBM lol) has an XP Professional COA which does not work with normal XP professional CDs

 

just to clarify the obvious here, I just need to borrow the CD, I dont want a licence (have one) and Im not interested in a pirated copy/licence.

 

in theory id need an IBM cd but im hoping any OEM xp cd should work.

 

thing is Ive tried some normal (retail) xp cd's but all rejected the key I have (which is listed as an IBM XP key for XP Professional 1-2CPU)

 

would appreciate any help or advice you guys have

 

feel somewhat pissed off at microsofts licencing schemes which are making a simple procedure so messy.
