WW2 Enigma Transmission from KPH Saturday August 30, 2025 @ 2000 GMT

Picked this up from QRZ this morning:

On August 30th 2025 @ 2000 GMT historic RCA Coast Station KPH, Pt. Reyes, CA. will transmit a coded message in 5-letter groups in Morse code. The message has been encrypted using the famous Enigma machine and will be transmitted simultaneously on 6 different commercial frequencies. KPH listeners are invited to receive the transmission and decrypting the message. Certificates will be awarded for proof of successful decode, first to decode and use of original or replica Enigma hardware.

My only regret is not being able to be at RSGB HQ in Bletchley Park that day to copy the message and walk across the way to Hut 11A to let the BOMBE replica decode it - Dave

Here's the details: The Enigma broadcast will commence at 2000 GMT (1300 Pacific) on 30 August 2025 on all KPH CW frequencies. The CW frequencies are (in kc):

426.0       6477.5        8642.0       12808.5       17016.8       22477.5

Upon completion of the CW transmissions, the broadcast will be repeated on the KPH RTTY frequencies at 2015 GMT. The RTTY transmission will be 170cps shift, 45 baud. The RTTY frequencies are:

6324.5     8427.0       12585.5.

Dave,

The only frequency I could hear anything was 12808.5 kc and that wasn't really good. Also, they were sending really fast. Must have been 25 wpm.
I was able to make out their callsign KPH. I think there were some numbers in there. It was exciting trying to copy

Ron, you did better than I did. I wasn't home today so I brought my trusty Tecsun PL-880 with me but heard nothing. Oh well. Think they do this every year
