Hello Everyone,

I have decided that it is time for me to sell some of my HF radio gear to prepare for an eventual move to a smaller place. While I do not anticipate moving this year or even next year, the time will eventually come when we need to embrace the next stage of our lives.

The following equipment is listed for sale on QTH.com and Craigslist. Prices for members of the club and other local hams will be less than the advertised price. I am also listing some items for local sale that are not yet advertised.

1. KX3 #1:
Serial number 2913 has the Wide-Range 20-W Automatic Antenna Tuner installed. Everything works perfectly and the transceiver has no physical defects. It has never been exposed to smoke. I am asking $1300.

2. KX3 #2:
Serial number 3221 has the KXFL3 Roofing Dual Bandwidth Filter for SSB/CW/DATA, KXAT3 Internal, Wide-Range 20-W Automatic Antenna Tuner and the KX3-2M Internal 2-Meter Module. Everything works perfectly and the transceiver has no physical defects. It has never been exposed to smoke. I am asking $1550.

3. MFJ998 Autotuner:
Fully functioning MFJ998 1500 watt autotuner. There are some small nicks in the paint but no other cosmetic issues. The on/off switch was bypassed by the previous owner so the tuner would turn on and off with the main power switch. I have always used it this way and it is quite satisfactory.

4. Palstar BT1500a tuner:

Tuner in pristine condition. I have installed a remote tuner and no longer need this unit. New price was over $1000; I am willing to ship the tuner to you for $750.00.

5. MFJ QSK-5:

These devices allow you to operate QSK with an amplifier that has a slow T/R relay. They are no longer available from the manufacturer. The original cost was $379.00 but I am willing to accept a reasonable offer. I have two of these switches for sale.

6. Ten Tec 238 antenna tuner.

Rated the most efficient commercially available tuner by QST. Will easily handle 1500 watts from 160-10 meters. It is a simple L-network with the ability to shift the capacitance from the input of the inductor to the output of the inductor to accommodate a wide range of load impedances.

7. Drake 2b receiver

The Receiver is in near-new physical condition. It has been recently aligned.  The AGC to the S-meter was not working after the alignment (I think I knocked something when I put the case back together).  It is likely an easy fix but I haven't gotten around to doing it yet.

8. A SunSDR2 Pro:

This a high quality SDR transceiver that puts out 15-20 watts from 160-6 meters and somewhat less on 2 meters. I use it daily and it does a wonderful job. This radio is not for the beginner: it takes some knowledge of computers to get it up and running but when you get there it is wonderful. Far more flexible than the Flex. It runs with native ExperSDR software and there is apparently a version of Thetis that has been modified for use with the SunSDR for those of us who are more comfortable with the GUI based on PowerSDR. I have been using ExperSDR3 for a couple of years and really like it.

If someone is interested in the SunSDR I will gladly help you get set up and comfortable with it.

Please let me know if you have any interest in these items. For club members, prices are negotiable.
