At our last meeting we decided to meet at the Old Shelter in Hubbard Park at about 1 PM on Friday (tomorrow). Please reply to this message telling me when you plan to arrive for the antenna raising party so we can plan accordingly.

Also, if you have not placed an announcement in the media about Field Day, today is a good time to do it.

I plan to arrive sometime after lunch.  The prediction for Montpelier is for scattered thundershowers.  Depending on the risk I may wait until later in the afternoon. I will check the forecast tomorrow before leaving home.

Hello Everyone,

Thanks for all the responses. It looks like everyone who is available should aim for our target of 1 PM (1300) tomorrow. If you can't get there that early don't fret--I'm sure there will be lots of work to do throughout the afternoon. Our goal is to get the antennas up and secure and route the feedlines back to the shelter. No actual gear will be left at the shelter Friday night.

I will have the (orange!) p-cord, doublet antennas, and antenna launchers available so we can get started at 1 PM. There is a good chance of rain so I encourage everyone to bring rain gear, hats, and water resistant footwear. 

Looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow.

If anyone needs rain gear for today I have a large nylon waterproof poncho, swing by my office on your way to the old shelter. I'm at 56 College St; come in the front door underneath the company signs and knock on the door on the left in the lobby for suite 101. Call me at 802-881-1225 if I don't come out.

 Hi All!

I got home from my Army Annual Training this past week after being gone for three weeks. 

I have to help my dad today. He is in good health and good spirits, just getting him settled in his new space. 

I am hoping to make it up at some point today since I still have never been to field day. I'll bring my old man too.

Sorry I couldn't be there to help set up or camp out this year.
