Hi George,

I’ll be there! I plan on bringing a full station and batteries to last the weekend. Should I bring any spare antennas?

Also, I read up on the rules and it sounds like there are some bulletins that will be transmitted in CW, SSB, and digital using the Olivia mode. If we’re able to copy them, we get bonus points. The transmission schedule is here:

Cheers,

Hi George,

My crew will be around some for the event, juggling a busy weekend so not totally sure when I'll be in the mix, but will aim to be there to help setup.

I'm available all weekend and would love to join in any capacity.  Happy to help operate, set up, or bring in supplies.

I will bring along my 1kWh battery unit and solar panels for backup/supplementary power, as well as my laptop and software-defined receivers.  This should allow us to copy the bulletins without changing station category or using one of our transceivers.

/Andrew

Andrew,

This sounds great! We were discussing how we were going to do the bulletins. Sounds like this will be covered now.

This is great, thanks everyone. The event is at George’s dad’s house and I think the parking may be a little tight, so if you can carpool that would be great. However, we will figure it out regardless.
