Hi everyone,

We're just under a week out from the annual Labor Day 5K race in Northfield!

If you'd like to assist with communications, please sign up using the sheet below or respond to this post.

The course map is attached here, but I've linked it in the spreadsheet as well. The aid stations are marked with orange dots. We'll be using 146.490 MHz FM simplex for communications; no repeaters necessary as portable coverage is possible throughout town. Please let me know if you need a radio!

The race schedule is a little different this year - the kids race will be starting first, and at an earlier time of 8:45am. We only need 3 operators for the kids race; everyone else can show up for the 5K a little later and be in position by 9:15-9:30am.

Any questions please ask! This is a pretty easy race and is usually done by 11. As of right now, the forecast is calling for rain, so just be prepared for that.

George usually does this, but this year he has a XC meet on Saturday so he can’t be there.

I added my name to the roster. I will probably show up early even if those shifts are filled. I haven't worked a race yet so I am looking to soak up as much as I can.
