Dear West River Friends,

This Labor Day we’re reflecting on the makers and creators who bring life, art, and story into our shared spaces. This week, we’re thrilled to welcome SACRED HOUND to the ARTIST LOFT (in the Thrift Store)!

Check out the new collection of screen printed ART WEAR featuring original designs from the maker's late brother—a prolific artist who, in just 28 years, filled sketchbooks, built puppets, crafted papier-mâché masks, taught, illustrated, and endlessly created. Though his life was cut short, his art lives on reimagined in SACRED HOUND. Each one-of-a-kind, upcycled t-shirt is printed by hand in a garage—a reminder of resilience and the power of creating heART out of tragedy.

We pause to appreciate the work that shapes our lives and Sacred Hound reminds us that the labor of art is just as vital. Every shirt is just $12, making this art as accessible as it is meaningful. Come explore the upstairs collection and take home a piece of this story.
