Rock River Players Premiere

The Freeing of Mollie Steimer: the compelling true story of one young revolutionary Who Stood Up to

American Oppression … and Did Not Back Down

August 15, 16, 22 and 23, 7pm; August 17 and 24, 3pm

Twenty-five area performers, designers, and crew are joined by a trio of New York City-based musicians for the production co-directed by play's author, Patrick Keppel and RRP founder, Annie Landenberger.

Reflecting many of today’s current political controversies and divisions, The Freeing of Mollie Steimer dramatizes the difficulty of maintaining ideals—or even one’s basic humanity—within an utterly corrupt society.

Admission is $17, $14 for students. Williamsville Hall, 35 Dover Rd., Williamsville is ADA compliant. A post-performance discussion with the company offered after the Sunday, August 17 matinee.  For information and tickets: www.rockriverplayers.org
