Dear West River Friends,

This storyteller’s end is another’s beginning...

We close our tribute to the word as creator—having explored it as connection, as contract, and now as the power to shape our world through the stories we tell.

In a final #weareyou , I upSIDE and reVERSE the lens to angle it at me. My superhuman power? You guessed it—wordPLAY!

And why Vermont? Let’s lyrical rap, rhyme, a Disney rewrite into modern times...

The truth about elLA Imma tell ya
Happily after started the chapter.
Danced a ball and wed a prince.
Joy to the boredom and ever since,
had it all but made the call
f*ck to the things and ditch the ring.

I am. I am. I ran from the man.
The dream ain’t what it seem.
Take the red pill and my will.
On the road, I drum. So hum.

Fled high castle for lower ground
No where to go, no place sound.
Finds a forest to rest her feet,
A fairy mother appears in heat.
Here’s a job, please don’t sob.
To be free, you must see
the world at large, pay your charge.

I am. I am. I ran from the man.
The dream ain’t what it seem.
Take the red pill and my will.
On the road, I drum. So hum.

Now widow Rich is an old stitch
to the cinder-cella she sends elLA
Wake to bake. Make don’t take.
Two sisters prissy, always hissy,
'Cinder-elLA, Cinder-elLA,
Come on, tella, where’s ya fella?
Ya kinda bella. What the hella?'

I am. I am. I ran from the man.
The dream ain’t what it seem.
Take the red pill and my will.
On the road, I drum. So hum.

The king don’t wanna look dumb.
To find elLA, he sends the fella.
Help in need, with hubby dead,
widow Rich hides one head
A stolen key by two furry friends
Sets her free, the locks they bend.
And in the light there is new sight.
All I need, within my hands.
At home, I am, on the land.

I am. I am. I ran from the man.
The dream ain’t what it seem.
Take the red pill and my will.
On the road, I drum. So hum.

Sisters leave in marriage masses.
Widow Rich chokes & passes.
Rags to riches, all's made right
but money ain’t a thang when
whole in her soul is her only goal.

And since this week is all about embracing your "imma creator" vibe, bring your best costume to a special Halloween Friday Wood Fired Pizza Night to get $1 off a single pizza. We got candy for the kids!

The West River Community exists because of you. Community is what happens when all our small acts of creation meet—each one shaped by word, over time, through us. Together, they become part of a shared story still being written. Thank you for being part of this living language—for showing up, speaking up, and helping make it real, one word at a time.

How do you wield your word?

To the next creator,
The WRCProject
